Web Developer
Part time
(10 AM - 2 PM, Mon-Thurs)
Job Responsibilities
WordPress & Wix Development (Daily):
Create or edit client websites (1-5 pages) using WordPress or Wix platforms, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing experience.
Maintain brand consistency across all website elements (design, layout, fonts, colors) based on client specifications.
Technical SEO Optimization (Weekly):
Implement basic on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques to improve website ranking in search results.
This may include tasks like optimizing page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and internal linking structure.
Website Maintenance & Updates (As Needed):
Perform website updates, fix technical issues, and troubleshoot any functionality problems reported by clients.
Ensure website security and maintain backups.
Additional Responsibilities
Client Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate clearly with clients to understand their website needs, preferences, and desired functionalities.
Collaborate with the marketing team and Samantha (Office Admin) to ensure websites align with overall marketing goals.
Quality Assurance:
Thoroughly test all website functionalities before launch to ensure smooth operation and a positive user experience.
Maintain a high standard for code quality and website performance.
